Khushboo Mittal is a software engineer by profession and has worked with IT giants such as Infosys Technologies, Birlasoft, and Fidelity Investments. Currently, she works as a QA team lead at Cygnet Infotech.
She was part of the Mrs. India Universe beauty pageant organized by Virus films and entertainment in Feb 2019 and won the title of Mrs. India Universe-Mrs Active. She was also awarded the Superwoman Award by Dream makers NGO and got the opportunity of walking the ramp for acid attack survivors. She was later awarded the Global excellence Icon Award in 2019.
For her, her family and career has been thrilling, challenging, and exciting. As a young girl from a small town, Meerut. She pursued her career as a Software engineer, and met the love of her life and eventually took the challenging decision of becoming an Army Officer's wife.
She enjoyed the new phase of her life, from a career oriented girl to a homemaker, and travelling around the country. Her duties as a woman changed significantly once she got married. Now, she not only has to keep her own spirits up but of all the fellow Army wives as well.
She's also diligently involved in the activities of Army Wives Welfare Association(AWWA) working for women empowerment and upliftment, focusing on the welfare of families, children and widows of all ranks, and working together for their better future.
Becoming a mother is something that challenged her perspective of being a professional woman. However, she truly believes that challenges make people better and stronger.She's happily married for 12 years and blessed with 2 beautiful kids - Samaira (7yrs) and Viraj(2yrs).
She is an independent and dynamic woman, breaking new grounds and always dreaming big. She is a loving, caring, and optimistic person who believes in living life to its fullest. Continuing to follow her passion for dance, she became a part of Shiamak Davar Institute of performing arts and later on got trained as a Kathak dancer. She has been a part of various stage performances including singing and dancing. She loves performing on the stage as it gives her a feeling of confidence and delight.
Though her most difficult challenges were when both her parents passed away in just three months, and then she had to take career breaks due to her husband's postings and during her pregnancies.However, only females can face these challenges and still came out smiling, and she was more than forward with this task.
Many people talk about women's empowerment, but she thinks women are already empowered and far more powerful than men. Women just need to come out of their shells, realize their potential and work on achieving their goals and dreams. For a
