Elena Stiehler studied to be a professional Make Up Artist at the leading Academy in Paris, France.  She is participating as a finalist in Milestone Pageants Mrs Global International, taking place in Dubai this year. It’s the first time in the history of Romania that a married woman is competing in an international beauty contest.

Elena was born in Bucharest, Romania, where she grew up the first 10 years of her childhood with her grandfather. Growing up without parents was defining her independence and willpower already as a young girl, when she had only herself to rely on. 

In her adult years, she broadened her horizons by traveling to over 35 countries on 5 continents. Learning about the different cultures not only made her grow emotionally but also made her clear that life does not only consist of duties and responsibilities. Seeing the most contrasting places, influenced her deeply on a spiritual layer.

Elena was invited to participate in different beauty pageants for many years in a row, but she always refused the offers. The invitation to Mrs Global International was different. The name “Milestone” itself was like a signal for her. As a woman who falls seven times and stands up eight, she now is ready to take the next step. 

The maxim of this year’s competition, “Educate the Girl Child”, is an important matter to her as well. 
The most important message by Elena to all girls out there is to stop seeking perfection and to think outside the box. Girls should think of themselves as human beings, not as gender. Every person has unique strengths and somewhere in the world, one’s values are in need. Success is not only defined by a career, it is more of a personal development which shines from the inside to the outside.
