The ceremonial passing of the crown came from the outgoing titleholder, Harnaaz Sandhu, marking a symbolic transition in the realm of beauty and poise. Born on March 20, 1994, in Houston, Texas, to a Filipino father, Remigio Bonzon "R. Bon" Gabriel, and an American mother, Dana Walker, R'Bonney Nola Gabriel draws strength from her diverse heritage. Her father's roots trace back to Manila, Philippines, with an immigration journey that led him to Washington state. In pursuit of her academic aspirations, Gabriel earned a bachelor's degree in fashion design from the University of North Texas.

Beyond her accomplishments in the world of pageantry, R'Bonney Gabriel is a multifaceted individual, excelling as a fashion designer, sewing instructor, and model. Her commitment to sustainability is reflected in her role as the CEO of her own eco-friendly clothing line, R’Bonney Nola, a testament to her dedication to ethical fashion practices.

Gabriel's initial steps into the world of pageantry included participation in Miss Kemah USA 2020, where she secured a place among the Top 5 finalists. Her journey continued with Miss Texas USA 2021, where she competed as Miss Harris County, achieving the remarkable position of first-runner up. Undeterred, she triumphed in Miss Texas USA 2022, paving the way for her representation of Texas at Miss USA 2022, where she clinched the title and made history as the first Miss USA of Filipino descent.
